Pacific County Fire District #1 is asking voters to consider a lid-lift to hire additional staffing and staff a third station.

Pacific County Fire District #1 is asking voters to consider a lid-lift to hire additional staffing and staff a third station. The District has provided a fact sheet and short informational guide to provide more details on the costs of the levy lid-lift, needs justification, and the direct use of the funds. Voters are asked to increase the current levy rate of .85 cents per $1,000 of assessed value up to $1.15 per $1,000 of assessed value. That equals $10 more per month on a $400,000 property. The election is August 6th.
