A burglary in progress was stopped this weekend after neighbors reported suspicious activity at a home in Belfair. Mason County Sheriff's Office says on Saturday deputies found a man inside the residence who refused to comply and had access to multiple firearms. After a brief standoff, negotiators convinced the suspect to surrender, and all stolen property was recovered.
