The closure, requested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, allows aircraft to safely draw water from the lake for firefighting operations. All boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are banned until further notice. Officials urge the public to stay clear and follow updates from the Bear Gulch Fire 2025 team and the sheriff’s office.
