The petition added that when The Quinault Nation closes the lake to the public, that denies the landowner their rights as non-tribal members. Last week the Supreme Court Denied the petition to revoke lake ownership by the Quinault Nation. On multiple occasions court rulings have confirmed the ownership a part of treaty rights.
