The South Bend Library will be closed for at least the rest of this week due to a fire. There was a fire early Monday morning right behind the library that has caused damage to the library building. Officials with the library say the outside book drop will remain open and in the meantime you can go to the Raymond Library . It’s open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 -6:00 and Saturday 10:00 - 5:00. Library personnel say they will do their best to relocate books on hold at the South Bend Location to the Raymond location.
