Students Across State Can Participate In Mock Elections

With the midterm elections just weeks away the Washington Secretary of State’s office is inviting students across the state to participate in the 2022 Mock Elections.

With the midterm elections just weeks away the Washington Secretary of State’s office is inviting
students across the state to participate in the 2022 Mock Elections. The mock elections are a
nonpartisan way to get students involved and excited about the election process. Teachers in grades K-
12 can have mock elections with either real candidates and issues appearing on the ballot this year or
there are fictional issues to use. From now through November 8 th teachers are invited to use the online
resources to get students prepared to be informed voters in the future. Get the link to those resources
