With the midterm elections just weeks away the Washington Secretary of State’s office is inviting
students across the state to participate in the 2022 Mock Elections. The mock elections are a
nonpartisan way to get students involved and excited about the election process. Teachers in grades K-
12 can have mock elections with either real candidates and issues appearing on the ballot this year or
there are fictional issues to use. From now through November 8 th teachers are invited to use the online
resources to get students prepared to be informed voters in the future. Get the link to those resources
