Aberdeen Museum of History's 40th Anniversary

June 9, 2018, the building housing the Aberdeen Museum of History was destroyed by fire. There were a few artifacts that survived and the City of Aberdeen has acquired a historic building that they will be renovating to rehouse the Museum's collection which has been locked up in storage for the past five years. To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Aberdeen Museum of History and to give members of the public an opportunity to take a look at a few of the many artifacts that survived, the Friends of the Aberdeen Museum are hosting an Anniversary Party at the new museum location, 118 West Wishkah Street on Saturday, Sept. 30th from 3 to 7pm.
Expect fun, a few surprises, a view of Aberdeen's past and an opportunity to change the future for the Aberdeen Museum of History . Families are welcome.
