In Aberdeen a special called meeting of the city council was held last night. Several Council members reportedly demanded that Councilman Riley Carter be removed from office after his arrest on first -degree rape of a child on. Tuesday night. Carter made his first appearance in Grays Harbor Superior Wednesday afternoon where he admitted to the charges . His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, to give Carter time to secure legal counsel, due to the severe gravity of the charges.
