A Hoquiam woman is facing charges after a stolen laptop led Chehalis police right to her. The Chronicle reports the laptop's owner used a tracking app to follow the computer to a vehicle outside Staples. That's where officers contacted 54-year-old Caroline Deisler, who claimed she'd found it in a ditch weeks earlier. Police also allegedly found methamphetamine during her arrest. Deisler faces felony stolen-property and misdemeanor drug charges. A judge set a $5,000 unsecured bond.
