A celebration of the first junior high school in the state of Washington is being planned in Aberdeen. Miller Junior High opened its doors in January 24th 1924 and Principal John Meers along with former Miller Principal Jerry Salstrom are looking for help in organizing a centennial celebration. A Community Organizational Meeting is being held at 6 p.m. tonight at Miller Junior High. Volunteers are needed to help with publicity, fundraising, posters and more.
