If you’ve got thoughts on housing in Pacific County, Thursday’s a good night to show up. The county planning commission will get its first look at a draft housing needs assessment, a state-required study of what kind of housing the county has now and what it’ll need down the road. It’s part of a bigger comprehensive plan update due by June 2027. The workshop starts at 6 Thursday evening at the county annex building on West Robert Bush Drive in South Bend, and you can join on Zoom too.
