Grays Harbor voters are deciding how to pay for local services today. Montesano has a six-year levy renewal on the ballot to support city operations, equipment and additional fire staffing. Grays Harbor Fire District Two has a separate proposal to restore its levy to $1.50 per thousand dollars of assessed value for 2027 and 2028. The amount collected in that second year would set the base for future levy calculations. The district says it would support crews, equipment and maintenance. Voting closes at eight tonight.
