7PM Sunsets Are Set To Return As Washington Springs Forward One Hour This Weekend

It's been a while since we had a sunset after 7pm (6 months to be exact) but that's about to change as we "spring forward" one hour this weekend and will have our first post 7pm sunset for the first time on Sunday since back in September.

Technically, the clocks move ahead one hour Sunday morning at 2am and while we will lose one hour of sleep, we will gain some much needed and missed daylight starting on Sunday.

That's the good news, now this whole moving the clocks back and forth twice a year is more of a pain than not and while there is conversation about leaving the clocks alone and keeping daylight savings year round, we're not quite there yet.

With the gaining of daylight, there also comes some concerns and risks with moving the clocks ahead this time of year including some health risks.
