The National Weather Service Predicts southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible along the south and central coasts.

A high wind watch is in effect from now through tonight at 11pm. The National weather Service says we can expect southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible along the south and central coasts. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible so make sure and have those emergency kits handy. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Emergency Management officials also remind you to make sure your alerts on your cell phone are turned on and the volume is up.
