A small plane went down between Ilwaco and Chinook after the pilot reported engine trouble on the way to Ilwaco Airport this weekend.

A small plane went down between Ilwaco and Chinook after the pilot reported engine trouble on the way to Ilwaco Airport this weekend. The sheriff’s department reports that the pilot managed an emergency landing about three miles short of the runway. Fortunately, the pilot walked away without injuries.
