Fire crews were busy late Monday after flames broke out at an abandoned building in Aberdeen. Grays Harbor Scanner was first to report the fire just before 10 p.m. along Simpson Avenue, across from Dairy Queen. Smoke and flames were visible from a vacant structure next to Cobra Auto, later identified as 1801 Simpson Avenue. The fire was put out,and no injuries were reported.
