The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Chehalis River at Porter from this morning until Saturday morning with minor flooding forecasted. At 49.0 feet, the Chehalis River will flood pasture lands and many roads including SR 12 between Oakville and Rochester. High tidal levels at Aberdeen will worsen flooding along the lower reaches. The river is expected to rise above flood stage and crest at 49.4 feet Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
