The Aberdeen fire department is once again teaming up with the American Red Cross to offer residents who don’t have one, a working smoke detector and will install it, all for free.
The Aberdeen fire department is once again teaming up with the American Red Cross to offer residents who don’t have one, a working smoke detector and will install it, all for free. The Sound the Alarm, Save a Life project installed 150 smoke alarms in homes back in October. Just like in the fall, volunteers are still needed to do the installations. The installation date is set for April 13th with volunteers canvassing neighborhoods this coming weekend to find out how many smoke alarms will be needed.
