Homeless Camp Downtown Aberdeen Disbursed

Late last week the owner of the property on the 200 block of Market street signed a no trespass order.

A homeless camp in downtown Aberdeen has been disbursed after the property owner announced plans to develop the site. Late last week the owner of the property on the 200 block of Market street signed a no trespass order, forcing the roughly dozen people living in front of the vacant stores to relocate. Authorities say the No Trespass order does not apply to the sidewalk in front of the building since the city does not have an alternative homeless shelter. Aberdeen and Grays Harbor officials told the Daily World they were working to find those displaced a new living arrangement but no word on the progress of that.
