Bridge repairs will shut down the Simpson Avenue Bridge in Hoquiam during the day next Wednesday and Thursday.

Bridge repairs will shut down the Simpson Avenue Bridge in Hoquiam during the day next Wednesday and Thursday. Crews will close the 97-year-old span from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for inspections, with additional daytime closures the following week for steel beam repairs. All traffic will be detoured to the US 101 Riverside Bridge, which will be temporarily reconfigured for two-way travel. Drivers should expect delays and check WSDOT updates before heading out.
