Hoquiam Police are putting out a notice of a possible fingerprinting scam that lists the police department on its website. The department says they’ve recently received fingerprinting requests after a company called Field Print lists Hoquiam PD as a place to get fingerprints for certain employment. A post on social media says while Hoquiam Police does offer those services, the department does not charge for the service and is in no way affiliated with this company. The post goes on to say Field Print has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau as well as multiple complaints and the Hoquiam City Attorney will be filing a complaint with the state.
