Local veterans looking for conversation and camaraderie have a couple of meetups coming up this week in Pacific County.

Local veterans looking for conversation and camaraderie have a couple of meetups coming up this week in Pacific County. “Donuts With a Veteran” is happening Wednesday morning at the Hungry Heifer in Raymond and Thursday morning at the Peninsula Senior Activity Center in Ocean Park, both running from 8am to 9am. Organizers say the goal is simple: give veterans a welcoming place to sit down, talk, and connect with others who’ve served. The monthly events also feature donated donuts from local businesses in each community.
