The Moore Wright Group in Aberdeen has been approved for an $8 million grant for the nonprofit’s Legacy Housing Project. The money is coming from The Washington State Department of Commerce’s Rapid Capital Acquisition program which just awarded over $50 million to 13 affordable housing projects across the state. The grant money will go to purchase a property in Long Beach that will be used to serve the needs of the homeless population in Pacific County. All projects awarded money will enter a 90-day due diligence period before contracting for the funds.
