Classes are proceeding normally today at Hoquiam High School after investigators determined an online threat wasn’t credible. Police learned Monday about a Snapchat post made by a 14-year-old who lives outside the city. Sheriff’s deputies, Hoquiam police and school officials investigated and found no intent to hurt anyone. The teenager’s parents cooperated and allowed deputies to search their home. No weapons were found, and deputies determined the juvenile didn’t have access to any. Police say there’s no known threat to Hoquiam students.
