There’s still no word on what caused a deadly plane crash in Olympic National Park that left one person dead and two others injured last week. The small plane went down on a steep slope near the Irely Lake Trailhead, about 10 miles northeast of Lake Quinault, according to the National Park Service. All three people on board were airlifted to a Level 1 Trauma Center after a rescue operation coordinated with Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
