All Walmart locations in Washington State will no longer offer single use plastic bags at checkout.
The Walmart in Aberdeen is reminding you that a plastic bag ban will start at that store next month. In fact all Walmart locations in Washington State will no longer offer single use plastic bags at checkout. Washington State put a plastic bag ban in place in 2020 and allows a store to charge 8 cents per single use plastic bag requested. The stores are recommending reusable grocery bags and will still have paper bags available for their delivery orders The Walmart plastic bag ban will go into effect April 18.
