A domestic violence call turned into a lengthy police standoff Tuesday night in Cosmopolis. Grays Harbor Scanner reports officers surrounded a home on Third Street after a man armed with a crowbar allegedly assaulted a woman and refused to come out. Police say the suspect, who also had multiple warrants, hid in the attic until officers used chemical agents to force him out. He was taken into custody after a struggle and checked by medics. Police say there was never a danger to the public.
