Riverside Bridge Closures Start Tonight

The closures will be so that crews can finish repair work to the machine rooms.

Nighttime closures on Riverside Bridge in Hoquiam will get underway starting tonight. The closures will be so that crews can finish repair work to the machine rooms. The bridge will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic with a single detour directing everyone to the Simpson Ave. bridge. The closure is scheduled from 9pm until 5:30am from tonight through Thursday September 28th. The closure was originally planned for the summer but had to be delayed to a material shortage.
