Staffing shortages are changing office hours and vital-record services at Grays Harbor County Public Health starting Monday. The department will no longer routinely process birth, death and other vital records in person, and its offices will be closed to the public on Fridays. Regular hours remain 8 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday, with a half-hour closure at noon. WIC will still see people by appointment on Fridays. Residents can order vital records online through the state, with computers available at Public Health for anyone needing online access.
