Prepare for what that could bring.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm and Blizzard warning for parts of our area above the 2,000 feet elevation mark. The warnings are for areas that include Olympic mountains. For those areas, heavy snow is expected through Wednesday with between 12 and 28 inches possible and wind gusts as high as 60 mph. For most of Grays Harbor, the elevation is well below 2,000 feet and the chance of even low amounts of snowfall is small. Grays Harbor Emergency Management has more information concerning the pending weather alerts on their Facebook Page.
