A trespassing call in Ocean Park last week led Pacific County deputies to arrest a convicted felon for unlawful firearm possession.

A trespassing call in Ocean Park last week led Pacific County deputies to arrest a convicted felon for unlawful firearm possession. Responding to reports of threats and a weapon, deputies found a loaded bolt-action rifle inside the residence and confirmed both suspects were felons barred from owning guns. A 10-year-old child was also believed to be inside, prompting a swift response to ensure their safety. The 37-year-old man was booked into jail on weapons charges and an outstanding warrant.
