Elma Man Arrested On Drug and Weapon Charges In Aberdeen

The driver, a 34-year-old Elma resident, was arrested after a routine check revealed his license was suspended.

In the late morning of January 4, an Aberdeen police officer made a traffic stop on W. Heron Street for a defective brake light and turn signal. The driver, a 34-year-old Elma resident, was arrested after a routine check revealed his license was suspended. During the stop, officers discovered signs of drug activity, and a search warrant led to the seizure of over 76 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 12 grams of suspected fentanyl, a pistol, and other drug-related items. The driver, a convicted felon, was booked into jail on multiple felony charges.
