Since forming in 1994, the foundation has had a goal to improve the quality of life in all communities throughout Grays Harbor County.
It was a good year for the Grays Harbor Community Foundation. Officials recently released the foundation’s annual report showing for 2021, they awarded over $3.4 million in scholarship money to students as well as grant dollars given out to local organization and nonprofits. The breakdown shows there was $2.6 million given out to schools and nonprofits over 320 scholarships totaling $915,000 and created a Fund Matching Program for new and current donors that raised $650,000 in 3 months.
