The Port of Grays Harbor has secured a $6.2 million federal grant and $2.6 million in matching funds to replace Float 21.

A major upgrade is moving forward at the Westport Marina, where some floating docks are 45 to 60 years old. The Port of Grays Harbor has secured a $6.2 million federal grant and $2.6 million in matching funds to replace Float 21. The new dock will include larger slips for commercial fishing vessels, along with upgraded power, water, lighting and fire protection. It’ll be the marina’s first new commercial dock in nearly 50 years.
