Police say a U-Haul truck struck a house around 2 a.m. Sunday after swerving to avoid a slow-moving vehicle on Sumner Avenue.

An early morning crash in Aberdeen ended with a DUI arrest but fortunately no injuries. Police say a U-Haul truck struck a house around 2 a.m. Sunday after swerving to avoid a slow-moving vehicle on Sumner Avenue. Officers determined the other driver caused the crash and arrested that person on suspicion of driving under the influence. Everyone inside the home was safe, and photos of the damage are posted on the Aberdeen Police Department Facebook page.
