Hoquiam police are giving drivers an early reminder about a complete closure of State Route 109, that’s planned for next month. Starting on Monday July 8th SR 109 will be completely closed centered around milepost 4.46 to continue the fish barrier removal projects going on throughout the state. It will be closed until July 28th. The normal 13 mile detour utilizing Powell Road, Ocean Beach Road, and US HWY 101 around the construction site will be in place.
