14 Insurance Providers Ask For Rate Increase In 2023

Molina is requesting a rate increase of 8.6% while, as we told you yesterday, Pacific Source is asking for an increase of over 15 percent. 

There will be more insurance options in Grays Harbor next year, but rates are going up all around.  The latest figures from the state office of the insurance commissioner shows 14 insurance providers have asked for a rate increase in 2023, with the average request being for just over 7 percent.  Meanwhile, the number of insurance options in Grays Harbor looks to increase from 2 this year, up to 4 insurance providers in 2023. TH two new providers next year will be Molina Healthcare of Washington and the PacificSource Source Health Plan.  Molina is requesting a rate increase of 8.6% while, as we told you yesterday, Pacific Source is asking for an increase of over 15 percent.
