Aberdeen firefighters respond to a house fire before they’re even called. The call came in around
9:30am yesterday for a structure fire on North Washington Street. Crews saw the smoke from the fire
station and were responding before the call came in. With the location being in such close proximity
and through assistance from the Hoquiam fire department, crew had the 2-story fire under control
within about 10 minutes. All residents had made it out before first responders arrived and there were
no reported injuries to civilians or fire personnel. A cause is still being looked into.
