An Aberdeen police officer on bike patrol in downtown this weekend was hit by a car. The wreck happened Saturday on South H Street when, according to police; a car failed to yield when exiting an alleyway. The officer was taken to Harbor Regional with minor injuries, the driver of the car was ticketed.
