The Aberdeen School board voted unanimously for their next superintendent on Friday. Finalist Dr. Jeffery Thake will take over for the retiring Dr. Alicia Henderson at the end of this school year. In a press release on Friday board members thanked everyone who applied saying they were very happy about the depth and scope of the applicant pool. Dr. Thake earned his doctoral of education from Aurora University in Illinois. He was most recently the superintendent of the Williston Basin School District #7 in North Dakota. Dr. Thake will officially take over for the retiring Dr. Henderson on June 30th
