Aberdeen Transit Center Expansion To Begin Later This Summer

Grays Harbor Transit has already purchased the adjacent property and will begin demolition on the current building soon.

Work on the expanded Aberdeen Transit Center will begin later this summer.  Grays Harbor Transit has already purchased the adjacent property and will begin demolition on the current building soon.  Once complete, the bigger, better transit center will include enclosed seating for departing passengers, improved public restrooms, as well as larger office space for Transit’s Customer Service Representatives and drivers. Most importantly, the update and remodel will improve safety for passengers & operators, traffic flow, with dedicated areas for arriving and departing routes. The historic mural on the east side of the current building has been photographed, and the framed pictures will go up inside the new center once complete.
