As Promised, Gas Prices Rising

Washington gas prices continue to rise early in the new year.

Washington gas prices continue to rise early in the new year. Triple-a has the statewide average now at 4-03 per gallon. That's 6 cents more than a week ago and 7 cents higher than this time last year. The average in Grays Harbor jumped up this week to $4-28 per gallon, it’s averaging the same in Pacific County. Nationwide, gas prices climbed 11 cents from a week ago to an average of 3-39 per gallon. Analysts blame higher crude oil prices for the rise at the pump and expect continued volatility ahead.
