The Grays Harbor Auditor’s office has certified the ballot results from the August 1st Primary. The top two candidates from each race move on to the general election in November. One of the closest races on the ballot was that for the next mayor of Aberdeen. Less than 100 votes separated three candidates and less than 40 votes separated 2nd and 3rd place. The two candidates on the November ballot will be Douglas Orr and Debi Ann Pieraccini. The South Beach Regional Fire Authority Maintenance Levy and the Elma Police Levy for 2024 both passed after final counts.
