Canoer Rescued On Chehalis River Near Oakville

First responders said it did not look like he was wearing a life vest. 

A canoer had to be rescued this weekend when his canoe tipped over in the Chehalis River near Oakville.  Grays Harbor Scanner reported the call came in around 5:20pm Saturday when Eric Readel was spotted hanging on to a tree branch near the Oakville Boat launch #2.  Reports say one of the first responders had a personal boat the rescuers used to bring the man e was evaluated and released.  First responders said it did not look like he was wearing a life vest.
