Chaplains on the Harbor has withdrawn from consideration for a contract for an emergency cold weather shelter just outside the Aberdeen city limits.

Chaplains on the Harbor has withdrawn from consideration for a contract for an emergency cold weather shelter just outside the Aberdeen city limits. That was the announcement at Tuesday’s regular meeting from the Grays Harbor County Board of Commissioners. County leaders said after consulting with the health department and the county’s legal department, the was not enough time to get the location just outside the Aberdeen city limits ready by the March 31st deadline. The county thanked Chaplains on the Harbor for their efforts on this project and said they looked forward to future initiatives.
