The city of Aberdeen’s flag receives a passing grade from the international flag community. The non-profit North American Vexillology Association recently released the results of a poll where they asked members and members of the public to rate 312 local government flags in the U.S. Aberdeen received a letter ‘C’ grade. Over 2,500 members of the public and 308 NAVA members responded to the poll. The Aberdeen city flag was redesigned in 2016 by resident John Barclay.
