Coming Heatwave Poses Moderate Risk To Those Sensitive

Forecasters say a heat advisory will go into effect tomorrow at noon and remain with us through Sunday evening.

State and local officials are warning residents in Grays Harbor about the first heat event of 2022 happening this weekend. Starting Saturday the level of heat will pose a moderate risk for those that are sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling or hydration.  Forecasters say a heat advisory will go into effect tomorrow at noon and remain with us through Sunday evening.  Daytime temperatures will reach into the low 90s this weekend with nighttime temps only dropping into the 60s.  Officials say to drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun when possible, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
