The Cosmopolis Police Department has issued a message to the public regarding the reduced workforce due to budget constraints.

The message simply says that the City of Cosmopolis still has police services and police officers available to answer 9-1-1 calls as well as non-emergency calls at 360.533.8765. The message goes on to say that the department expect to have more direction regarding staffing and levels of service after the next city council meeting which is set for Wednesday.
