East Grays Harbor Fire/Rescue has a new training tool that will help better prepare firefighters on various ventilation techniques. The vertical ventilation prop is being borrowed from The Washington State Patrol Fire Marshalls Office.. This equipment will allow firefighters to simulate different pitches of roofs, providing realistic conditions for vertical ventilation. Members of other area fire department will also be taking advantage of the simulator while its in town over the next few weeks.
